Overview
Oral health care providers have been on the front lines of the
COVID-19 pandemic. In the last two years, providers have found innovative ways
to prioritize patient safety and infection prevention, and weather financial
setbacks. Focused on helping dentists in all career phases, this course
gives learners 10 evidence-based resilience strategies to support their
mental health and wellness. These techniques can support individuals, and can be
used in all practice environments and educational settings, especially in
times of uncertainty and prolonged stress. Presenter Sheela Raja, PhD, is an author, associate
professor at University of Illinois Chicago, and director of the UIC College of
Dentistry Resilience Center.
