Background.
Little is
known about factors that influence dentists’ decision making concerning
antibiotic prophylaxis (AP) prescribing. The objective
of this study was to determine
factors that influence dentists’ AP prescribing habits in patients at risk
of developing infective endocarditis and prosthetic joint
infections.
