For Dentists: Logging In for the First Time
Even though this is your first time logging into an ADA website, you do not need to create a new account. All dentists and dental students, regardless of membership status, have a nine-digital ADA number, which functions as their User ID.
Step 1: On the page titled “ Password/User ID Help,” enter your ADA number into the field titled “User ID.” (Note: If you do not know your ADA number, you can either call or email the ADA Member Service Center (MSC) to obtain it. The MSC is available between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central time on weekdays. Call 800.621.8099 or email [email protected] to contact the MSC).
Step 2: Click on the “Submit” button, which will begin the process of creating a password.
Step 3: You will be prompted to answer your security question. While this is your first time logging, a default security question will already be in place for you. Once you have successfully logged in, you can create a new security question.
Step 4: After correctly answering your security question, you will be able to create a password for your account. Please note that all ADA passwords must contain at least
- Eight characters
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number
This will complete your process of logging into ADA websites.
If you need a new ADA membership card, please contact the Member Service Center. Once your request has been submitted it will take 7-10 business days to receive your card in the mail.
For additional questions, contact the ADA Member Service Center.
