Overview
COVID-19 is reshaping every aspect of life in the United States and
globally and dental care is no exception. The dental care sector was largely
shut down during the early, highly uncertain stages of the pandemic. However,
the profession has rebounded just as fast, with the ADA taking the lead on
developing evidence-based safety guidelines that ensure the safety of providers
and patients. This panel reflects on how dentistry has come back stronger than
ever and what the future holds for practicing dentists.
