Background.
The
purpose of this systematic review was to examine whether dental intervention
involving bone or soft-tissue manipulation preradiotherapy (pre-RT) is
associated with lower rates of osteoradionecrosis of the jaw (ORNJ) in patients
with head and neck cancer
(HNC).
